MOQ and bulk pricing for corporate gifts, explained
Updated 19 October 2026
Two things decide what a corporate gift order costs: the minimum order quantity (MOQ) and the price band your quantity falls into. Understanding both makes it much easier to plan a budget — and to see when ordering a little more actually saves money.
What MOQ means
The MOQ is the smallest quantity of a product that can be made with your logo. It exists because branding has a set-up cost — a screen, a plate, a machine set for your design — that has to be spread over enough pieces to make sense.
On our site the MOQ is shown on every product. As a rough guide:
- **Pens:** usually from 2,000 pieces.
- **Carry bags:** from 300 pieces; other bags from 500.
- **Diaries and notebooks:** from 100 to 300 pieces.
- **Wall clocks** and **plastic novelties:** from 100 to 500.
- **Gift sets:** from 100 sets.
Why bigger orders cost less per piece
Every product has a price per piece for each quantity band — for example, one price from the MOQ, a lower one from twice that, and lower again for large orders. The set-up cost is the same whether you make 500 pieces or 5,000, so each piece carries less of it as the quantity grows.
This is why it often pays to round up. If 900 pieces cost nearly as much in total as 1,000 because 1,000 falls into a cheaper band, the extra hundred are almost free — and useful for new joiners and late additions.
How to plan a budget
1. **Start with the list.** Count who receives the gift, then add 5 to 10 percent.
2. **Set a price per person**, not a total. Our gifts under ₹100 and gifts from ₹100 to ₹500 pages are a quick place to start.
3. **Check the quantity bands** on the products you like, at your number.
4. **Remember what is added:** GST is extra, and delivery is quoted with your order, by air or surface.
Mixing products in one order
Each product has its own MOQ, so a welcome kit with a diary, a pen and a bag needs each item to meet its own minimum. Where one item's MOQ is higher than your list — pens, say — consider a different item for that slot, or use the extra pieces at events and counters.
Getting the exact figure
Add products to your cart at the quantities you need and download a quotation PDF in your company's name — useful for your purchase team. When you are ready to order, the small design & approval charge of ₹250 starts it, adjusted in your bill; the final quotation with delivery follows once you approve the design, and the product prices stay as you saw them.
