Corporate diaries and notebooks with your logo: how to choose

A diary is the corporate gift people actually use — every working day of the year, on the desk, in meetings, in front of colleagues. That is why so many companies give one at New Year and Diwali. Here is how to pick the right one.

Dated diary, planner or notebook?

  • **Dated diaries** have a page or half a page for each day of the coming year. They are given before the year starts and are used most by people who plan their days on paper.

  • **Notebooks** have no dates, so they never go out of date — useful when the gift may sit in a cupboard for a few months, or for conferences and training.

Which size?

  • **A5** (about 15 × 21 cm) is the usual office diary size: big enough to write in, small enough to carry. See A5 notebooks.
  • **B5** is larger, for people who write a lot — managers, engineers, doctors.
  • **A6** is pocket-sized, for sales teams and people on the move.

Covers and how the logo goes on

Covers range from soft leatherette and PU to hard covers and wooden covers for something different. The logo is usually:

  • **embossed or debossed** into the cover — subtle and long-lasting;
  • **screen or UV printed** — for logos in colour;
  • printed on the inner pages too, as listed on each product.

Ask for your logo on the cover and, if you like, a page inside with your company's details or a message from the management.

How many to order

Most of our diaries and notebooks start at 100 to 300 pieces, and the price per piece drops as the quantity rises — every product page shows the price for each quantity band. Order a little more than your list: new joiners and late additions always appear.

Timing

Diaries are a New Year and Diwali gift, so the busiest time is October to December. Most diaries show about 15 days to make once the design is approved.
